Online Telehealth Consultations

Proactive Health and Movement are proud to offer the following services online Physiotherapy, Psychology, Podiatry (Clients with gait, pain and movement problems as well as clients with infections) to all of our clients – especially as we find our community isolates during the changes with COVID-19.

Online Telehealth consultations are an innovative option to work around face to face consultations and they are not only effective, they are convenient and fun!

You can expect that after your first consultation you can be confident to have:
– a working diagnosis,
– a well explained management plan
– actions to achieve your short term and long term goals

Research tells us that people are more open to having an online consultation for psychology and dietetics services, and that some people find it hard to understand how an online consultation for physiotherapy or podiatry might be helpful for a painful condition. For physiotherapy and podiatry consultations, there is now also an ever growing body of research to conclude that therapists can assist clients to achieve their health outcomes, be free from pain and get back to doing what they love without ever having to physically touch them! We understand that it is essential to understand exactly why people are experiencing pain and having an education and movement therapy plan to help you achieve your goals and getting back to the things that are important in your life.

Will an online consultation work for you?

Online Telehealth consultations are a great choice for people who:

  • Like to achieve their health goals, even though they may not be able to attend a face to face consultation
  • Choose the best practitioners (Psychologist, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists and Dietitians) who may not be within a reasonable distance to their homes
  • Live far away from our clinic, either overseas or for a or remote area

What can you expect from an online consultation with Proactive Health and Movement?

Having a painful condition, psychological challenges or issues relating to your diet can often be an overwhelming and in some cases a frustrating experience. Our goal is to always look after your and your needs, keep things simple and to have you understand there is always a plan. We want you to feel you are being well considered and looked after to help you achieve your goals. We know that one of the biggest complaints about health care is that people will say that they did not feel cared about by their treating practitioner and we are proud to say we make a real effort listen, and create a plan that resonates personally with each and every client – because we believe that is the right way to treat someone, and that is exactly how we would expect to be treated.
