Hi I’m Julie,
I am dedicated to creating a non-judgmental therapeutic relationship where respect, trust and kindness are paramount.
I enjoy helping adolescents, young adults and adults and have experience supporting individuals with a range of mental health conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, stress and trauma, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, sleep disturbance, pain, low self-esteem and confidence, interpersonal difficulties and emotional dysregulation.
I have a wide range of experience in private practice, acute outpatient mental health, community support and employment services.
To empower you to make meaningful change, I draw on a range of evidence based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I am passionate about ongoing learning and I am currently studying a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post Registration). I understand it is a privilege to really listen to your needs and support you to understand, improve and oversee your own psychological wellbeing and personal growth.
